Charlotte begs Principal Walker to reconsider- the thing she wanted to do was put Ms. Peters’ job on the line. Ms. Peters won’t go down without a fight, however, and she enters into a tense debate with Principal Walker about trans rights. Although Principal Walker claims he is powerless to bend the rules, Ms. Peters wins him over, convincing him to reexamine the rules, and himself.
When a hidden attraction between him and Ms. Peters is revealed, Charlotte motivates them to consider getting to know each other a little more ‘closely’.
